Although it was initially classified as a "Table Wine", it was quickly acclaimed by the international press as a Supertuscan.

The characteristics of Coltassala define the standard of the new disciplinary for the production of Chianti Classico. Today Coltassala occupies the highest level of the qualitative pyramid it built: it is a Chianti Classico Gran Selezione.

Tasting notes

The Coltassala has a vivid ruby color. This is a well-structured, complex wine with an elegant nose and hints of vanilla, cacao and fruit.
